New Delhi: In another instance of an outage, several users of Airtel’s broadband services were unable to access the internet on both mobile and desktop on Friday evening (7th May 2022). Website outage monitoring platform DownDetector.com noted that the major outage affected millions of users across the country.
Airtel’s broadband services have been halted for users in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Jaipur and other cities. “Airtel Broadband not working in Delhi-NCR. Is anyone else facing the problem?” a concerned user tweeted.
As of now, Airtel has not released a statement on the recent outage. According to an IANS report, around 39% of Airtel’s broadband users had no signal. The report also noted that about 32% had issues with mobile internet while 29% faced complete outage.

Earlier in February 2022, Airtel users were facing difficulty in accessing the internet as the network was down for a few hours in several parts of the country including metropolitan cities such as Mumbai and Delhi.
