BGSBU Rajouri hosts a webinar on “Application of Cognitive Technologies in Industry 4.0 – Kashmir Reader

Rajouri: Department of Computer Science, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Rajouri hosted a webinar on “The Application of Cognitive Technologies in Industry 4.0” on September 18, 2021. About 150 participants including faculty members, scientists, University researchers and students from various institutions across the country joined and actively participated in the event.
Professor Akbar Masood, Vice Chancellor of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, congratulated the Computer Science Department at BGSB University for organizing the webinar. In a statement, Professor Akbar said the webinar was an opportunity for industry, researchers and academics to exchange and debate on relevant issues related to Industry 4.0 and its applications for social development. -economic of our country.
Professor Iqbal Parwez, Dean of Academic Affairs and Professor Asif Hussain, Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science applauded the efforts of the Head of the Department, Dr Majid Basir Malik and faculty members in organizing the webinar.
Dr Qamar Rayees Khan delivered the welcome address and highlighted the theme of the webinar. Uh. Shantanu Kar, Global Head of Cognitive Technology, IQVIA was the guest resource for this webinar. He gave a lecture on “Application of Cognitive Technologies such as Software Robotics, NLP and Deep Learning in Industry 4.0”, followed by a question and answer session. Dr Aadil Ahmad Lawaye, webinar coordinator presented a formal vote of thanks.
The webinar discussions were moderated by Mr. Naveed Jeelani, University Researcher, Department of Computer Science. The webinar was coordinated by Dr Aadil Ahamad Lawaye and Ms Parveen Rana, Assistant Professors Department of Computer Science, BGSB University, Rajouri.
