Cynthia advises private equity fund sponsors, hedge fund managers, large and complex asset managers and many smaller and start-up alternative investment advisors on a wide range of corporate, tax, regulatory and operational compliance related to their investment management activities. She also represents institutional investors who invest in private funds, particularly in the negotiation of seed agreements, side letters and co-investments. His extensive experience includes successive internal general counsel and chief compliance officer positions with SEC-registered investment and hedge fund managers.
