EASTERN Communications, one of the country’s leading telecommunications companies, has partnered with Iloilo-based Internet Service Provider (ISP) Panay Broadband to provide stronger and more reliable Internet connections on Panay Island.
Owned by Buenavista CATV Inc. (BCATVi), Panay Broadband is a local ISP that pioneered the transmission of data services in the province of Antique and was the first to cable Internet on the island of Panay.
The alliance intends to step up Eastern Communications’ goal of expanding strong connections across the country and helping local ISPs meet the growing demand for Internet solutions in their respective localities.
Improved Internet services will be immediately available in the provinces of Antique and Iloilo via Panay Broadband. The ISP also plans to expand its reach to Roxas City, Capiz soon.
âAs the new standard continues to increase the demand for bandwidth, cable TV operators and ISPs like us need solutions that will increase the strength and stability of the Internet connections we provide. We are grateful to Eastern Communications for supporting our goal of serving more customers with agility and efficiency, âsaid Panay Broadband President Anthonio Silloriquer.
âWe are honored that Panay Broadband has trusted us to be its partner, and we remain committed to reaching more provinces and rural areas in the Philippines. Through these partnerships, we transcend our limits as a solution provider. We look forward to helping more Filipinos access information and meet their other online needs during the pandemic, âsaid Michael Castaneda, Director of Sales for Eastern Communications.
