Eutelsat has appointed Eva Berneke, former head of TeleDanmark, as CEO.
Berneke succeeds Rodolphe Belmer, who is leaving the Parisian satellite operator for the IT company Atos.
She joins Eutelsat from the Danish IT and software company KMD, specializing in IT solutions and services for the public and private sectors, and which is now part of the NEC group. During her tenure, she oversaw the transformation of KMD from a primarily government service provider to a modern digital enterprise competing in the public and private sectors.
While at TDC, the former TeleDanmark, Belmer was head of strategy and head of the company’s wholesale division.
