Martin Sorrell’s S4 Capital acquires Zemoga technology services group

LONDON, Sept. 17 (Reuters) – Martin Sorrell’s S4 Capital (SFOR.L) has reached a deal to buy Zemoga, a technology services company that provides a new avenue for the growing digital advertising group to gain work from multinational clients.

Sorrell, the founder of WPP (WPP.L), transformed S4 into a $ 6 billion company in the three years since its launch, acquiring companies to combine data with digital content and serve Facebook, Google, Burberry and Netflix.

The shift to technology services is designed to allow it to better compete with Accenture and Globant, who can sell both digital advertising services to a client, as well as in-house digital transformation advice.

Sorrell said Zemoga will help S4 take an important step towards creating a third practice area around technology services. A digital transformation group, Zemoga provides design, engineering and product delivery services to clients such as Bridgestone, Sony, Roku and Morningstar.

Founded in 2002 in Colombia, Zemoga employs technology specialists across the United States to help clients digitize their internal and customer-centric operations.

“Entering the technology services industry through Zemoga gives us the full ability to speak to the CTO or CIO, as well as the Director of Marketing and Sales,” Sorrell said. “We now have the full set.”

He did not give a price for the case.
