Merryspring Webinar: Growing Garlic in Maine

Retired extension educator David Fuller will present on growing garlic in Maine during an online webinar hosted by Merryspring Nature Center on Tuesday, August 16 at 12 p.m.

In this online program, guests will learn about all aspects of growing garlic successfully in Maine. Fuller will cover variety selection, choosing a site, when to plant and harvest, and some details on the results of research on garlic grown in Maine. This class is suitable for both established and new garlic growers.

Dave Fuller is a retired agricultural professional from the University of Maine Cooperative Extension who specialized in allium crops, including garlic. He is a lifelong gardener and learner.

This talk is part of the Online Summer Talk series at the Merryspring Nature Center, sponsored by First National Bank.
