NYC Test & Trace Corps partners with Acuity International to expand access to testing


RESTON, Virginia and NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Thanks to the partnership of International acuity and NYC Health + Hospitals, more than 500 healthcare professionals have been deployed to set up 60 COVID-19 testing sites across New York’s five boroughs. Each site tests an average of 400 people per day.

NYC Test & Trace Corps is an interagency effort led by NYC Health + Hospitals and the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to ensure New Yorkers have free, barrier-free access to testing. The partnership was formed to bolster COVID-19 testing teams across New York in direct response to the Omicron wave.

During New York City’s efforts to quickly respond to the global COVID-19 pandemic, Acuity and NYC Health + Hospitals have worked side by side to provide emergency medical support to New Yorkers. “The working relationship and great esprit de corps we have built together over the past year and a half has enabled our two organizations to effectively provide excellent healthcare support during this historic and challenging time,” said James Hill, Acuity Project Manager.
