Hisar: The SSB Club of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, (GJUST) Hisar, as part of the Training and Placement Mentoring Cell, held a webinar in conjunction with the NCC unit of the university on “SSB Preparedness Strategies”. Major General Dr. Ranjit Singh AVSM, VSM, former Vice Chancellor of CRSU and Central University of Haryana, and currently President of Neha Foundation and Director of General Academy Ranjit SSB was the keynote speaker. Partap Singh Malik, Director, Investment, chaired the function. Approximately 120 SSB club members and NCC cadets participated in this online event. Major General Dr. Ranjit Singh shared his SSB experience and guided the students on the different dimensions of the SSB process. He urged the students to idealize Swami Vivekananda and also mentioned Swami’s contribution. He suggested the students engage in outdoor activities and practice yoga to stay physically and mentally fit.

e-campus placement campaign

Hisar: A student from Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar, has been selected under the e-campus placement program of Sakata Inx (India) Pvt Ltd, based in Rewari, Rewari (Haryana), organized by the University’s training and placement unit. Prof. Baldev Raj Kamboj, Vice-Chancellor and Prof. Avnesh Verma, University Registrar, congratulated the selected students. Deputy Principal Dr. Aditya Vir Singh said Rahul Nirol of MBA 2021 passed out and was selected.

national youth day

Yamunanagar: On the occasion of the National Youth Day and the birthday of Swami Vivekanand, a webinar was organized by the society’s intellectual forum, ‘Panchnad Research Institute Study Centre, Yamunanagar. Renowned litterature, social activist and retired Head of Department of Hindi, MLN College, Yamunanagar, Dr. B Madan Mohan was the chief guest and speaker. The webinar was chaired by PRI Country Director, Dr. KC Pandey. PRI Patron Yamunanagar and Treasurer of Management Committee of DAV College, New Delhi Dr. MC Sharma also addressed the programme. On this occasion, PRI Yamunanagar District Chairman Suresh Pal, Treasurer Dr Hemant Mishra, Secretary Dr Uday Bhan Singh, Manisha, Dr Alka Sharma, Neetu Rani, Dr Ramesh Dhariwal, Rajindr Dhiman, Uday Veer Shastri and other people were also present.

Dairy Farming Training Program

Rohtak: A center of Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Hisar (LUVAS), in Lakaria village, organized a five-day training program on dairy farming in Sunderpur village. Dr. Rajinder Singh, head of the center, informed the participants that they had received training and education on dairy animal breeds and husbandry, food and feeding (especially mineral blends), l quality watering, housing, calf management, vaccination for disease prevention, etc.
