SynSaber appoints Mark Weatherford and Ali Golshan to advisory board

SynSaber has announced the appointment of distinguished cybersecurity leaders Mark Weatherford and Ali Golshan to its advisory board.

With over two decades of information security experience each and in leadership roles in some of the world’s largest cybersecurity organizations, Weatherford and Golshan bring extensive experience in technology growth strategy and commercialization, as well as increased depth and breadth for SynSaber’s already impressive well of expertise.

In addition to his current roles as CSO at AlertEnterprise and as Chief Strategy Officer and Board Member of the National Cybersecurity Center, Weatherford has held various leadership roles in cybersecurity and consulting, including that of chief cybersecurity strategist (and current advisor). board member) of vArmour, global information security strategist for Booking Holdings, head of security for the North American Electric Reliability Corporation, and was the chief information security officer for the California and Colorado.

Ali began his career in government, where he conducted security and vulnerability research for the intelligence community and helped solve problems in designing resilient infrastructure.
