A trio of telecom software and solutions providers will host a webinar on November 10, 2021 to discuss how telecom operators can achieve their digital transformation. Aimed at Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) and Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) across Europe, the webinar will be hosted by Mobilize, Oasis smart SIM card and ARIADNEXT three digital transformation specialists striving to promote a digitally driven mindset in the mobile ecosystem. The webinar will be moderated by Tata Communications, a global digital ecosystem facilitator.

As moderator, Tata Communications will set the scene by starting the dialogue on how digital transformation in telecommunications can meet consumer demands for digital. Speakers will then present three use cases that address these demands, while highlighting the most common mistakes regarding eSIM that negatively impact the success of the digital transformation of telecom operators and the actions they need to take. take to avoid this. Each of the presenting companies specializes in an element of the digital transformation of telecoms.

The digitization of operations is becoming more and more relevant for service providers concerned with meeting customer expectations. The pandemic has increased the reliance on telecommunications for working, socializing and everything in between. This has increased customer expectations of their service provider now, consumers demand more flexibility, transparency and simplicity.

Capgemini’s latest report found that 70% of customers are influenced by the quality of a telecom company’s digital customer experience when selecting a mobile operator. It is no longer a question of whether telecom operators should go digital, but rather when. Digitization is a must for telecom operators and eSIM offers the necessary means to improve.

ARIADNEXT focuses on remote identity verification software, while Oasis Smart SIM develops integrated SIM and SIM deployment technology (eSIM) and Mobilize offers a white label digital platform designed to enable operators to offer a transparent digital experience to the customers of telecommunications operators.

Pascal Decaux, Business Developer at ARIADNEXT will present on Fraud Prevention, Jonathan Kendall, CCO at Oasis Smart SIM will explore eSIM deployment best practices and Hamish White, CEO of Mobilize will focus on digital user experience and integration of clients. The webinar will be moderated by Dejan Rasuo, Director, Head of Strategic Partnerships at Tata Communications.

“The digital transformation of the telecommunications industry is crucial to meeting the increasingly demanding expectations of customers,” said Hamish White, CEO of Mobilise. “It’s imperative that carriers start their digital journey now to deliver the digital experience their customers need, but it’s also critical that they do it right.

“Data collected by Everest Group suggests that 78% of digital transformations fail to meet their business goals. We are determined to change that for Telecoms and believe that giving MNOs and MVNOs an overview of common pitfalls and how to avoid them will be an important step in the digitalization of our industry.

“Traditional players and new digital-native mobile services wishing to launch a digital brand must really understand how to integrate eSIM into the customer journey, a largely digital journey in the new world. They need to anticipate the eSIM lifecycle, from initial provision to end of life and all intermediate use cases, ”added Jonathan Kendall, CCO of Oasis Smart SIM.

“Failure to make eSIM a ‘better’ option than traditional SIM will not allow operators to harness the full potential of the technology and add friction and ultimately slow digital transformation in mobile. We want to give them ideas on how to do this transformation well. ”

The webinar will take place on November 10, 2021 at 11:00 UTC + 1.
