Internet, cable and telephone (NYSE: WOW), a leading broadband service provider, today announced that it will double its plans to expand Greenfield to 400,000 homes by 2027, a 21% increase in the number company’s total homes and that it would increase its Greenfield investment to a total of $400 million. The increase reflects the plan to add almost 30,000 housing units passed in Greenville County, South Carolinanewly identified growth opportunities in Central Floridaand future markets.

WOW! plans to invest more than $30 million in Greenville County and reach over 28,000 past households in communities across Five Forks, fountain inn, Mauldin, Piedmont and Simpsonville. Combined with the expansion plans recently announced in Seminole County and Orange County, Florida, WOW! expects to reach nearly 180,000 new homes, surpassing the company’s earlier projection of 100,000.
